Grounded in the premise that perfect mutual understanding is impossible, the work stages moments in which voices fail to reach and intentions slip away, inviting the audience to inhabit ambiguity rather than resolve it.
Language, ( ), and I
2023. 03
The impact of language on the self—and the emotions it stirs—is, ironically, one of the most difficult things to articulate. This is precisely why I chose to explore it through my artistic practice. For those who live between languages, the experience of communication is inevitably different from that of those who inhabit only one.
What is the relationship between language and the self? How do human connections take shape when we move through a non-native tongue? I hope this work invites you to linger with these questions.

designer&artist
The work investigates asymmetries of meaning and discrepancies in interpretation produced within contemporary communication environments. Through performance, sound art, and installation, it constructs intentionally incomplete communicative situations.
Recent projects engage with presence in natural environments and the disappearance of sound. By staging situations in which utterances fade or are absorbed, the work suggests that not being understood does not necessarily lead to negative outcomes. It explores the possibility of relationality that persists without the imperative of knowing.
