2025. 02“Tadayou – Drift” is a performance piece that explores the value of remaining in a state of not knowing, set against a culture exhausted by its obsession with clarity, competence, and constant information exchange.
Grounded in the premise that perfect mutual understanding is impossible, the work stages moments in which voices fail to reach and intentions slip away, inviting the audience to inhabit ambiguity rather than resolve it.

2023. 03Language is often described as a bridge for mutual understanding, with words serving as the messages we send across it. Yet simply shifting from one language to another can turn an ordinary message into something intimidating. A space where one once spoke effortlessly can suddenly become a place where every word feels weighed down by pressure.

The impact of language on the self—and the emotions it stirs—is, ironically, one of the most difficult things to articulate. This is precisely why I chose to explore it through my artistic practice. For those who live between languages, the experience of communication is inevitably different from that of those who inhabit only one.

What is the relationship between language and the self? How do human connections take shape when we move through a non-native tongue? I hope this work invites you to linger with these questions.
